Hello Hip Hop Heads of the SF Bay Area. We invite you all to come hang out and bang out with us at the Legionnaire Saloon on the third Friday of June, the 19th, for a night of new non commercial hip hop sprinkled with some Afro Beat and Funk Breaks. Hieroglyphics is the same hip hop collective that brought you Hiero Day and have been stalwarts of the hip hop community since the 90’s. This is one of our latest contributions to the culture. Wax Poetic seeks to be an alternative to the excess amount of low quality hip hop shows that are filled with performers who sold tickets for the promoter to secure their place on the bill. Enough wit the bullshit and lets just bring it back to the music. So, in that way, Wax Poetic is all about the DJ, the dance and the fun; AKA the community! We hope to gather as many Hardcore Hip Hop Heads and like minded people who love it the most as we can all into one place and douse them with hip hop grooves, cocktails and the good beer that Legionnaire Saloon keeps on tap. We hope to see you there.
