Despite the growing economic struggles, I’m please to announce that we’re hosting our 3rd Annual Rock The School Bells Hip-Hop Conference and Concert next March 2010. As most of you know, all monies and proceeds from the last two RTSB events went to educational scholarships for high school students majoring in the areas of art, music, film, and dance. Across the state, many of these fine art programs have been cut or reduced because they are not considered “core” subjects.
So, on Friday, December 4th, we are hosting our Rock The School Bells 3 Exposure Party as well as celebrating our Sagittarius birthdays (including me) at Milk SF on Haight Street to raise more money for educational scholarships!
Hosted by: Fran Boogie
Keeping the party movin’: Prince Aries (D2S), Boogie Brown (Get Live/The Formula, and DJ Owlboogie (Act Fig/Mixcrate.com)
Live performances by: Jern Eye and xL
We will have 2 tickets to see the Roots at the Warfield on New Year’s Eve to raffle off!
This is a fundraising event for the youth and students. It’s a sliding scale of $5-20. Donate whatever you can.
Come support this wonderful cause and celebrate life with all of your Sagittarius folks. Whether you are someone I see on the daily or someone I haven’t seen for a minute, it would be wonderful to see all of your beautiful faces!
