Horizons Unlimited of San Francisco, Inc. (Horizons), established 1965, is a community based organization that provides substance abuse prevention and treatment, employment, entrepreneurial, and gender-specific services for at-risk Latino and other youth, ages 12-26. The DJ Project is an arts education, employment, and entrepreneurial program at Horizons that uses music to engage youth through high appeal programming in small business management, event production, audio production, DJing, b-boying/b-girling, and community service.
The DJ Project is funded by the Department of Public Health, Community Behavioral Health Services and Department of Children, Youth, and their Families

On March 22nd Trackademicks blesses us with his latest offering off of his debut album, State Of The Arts. “Check” features HNRL cohort Josie Stingray for what serves as the quintessential pre-game attitude adjustment/enhancement for a night out. As Track states in his liner note for the song, “‘Check’ is about being Fresh with what you got”.
Cocktail and Sartorial references included, the two playfully trade perspectives on this theme, with Track’s trademark breezy synth-laced soundscape as a the backdrop.
