The iWAMs is a one of a kind film screening, talent showcase, and award ceremony event all in one powerful night! We are proud to create an exciting space for emerging Hip Hop talent to get exposure and generate interest in their artistry and brand by screening their latest music videos for a crowd of fans, fellow artists and industry taste makers alike.
Thanks to key partnerships in the worlds of entertainment and tech, What started as The Bay Area Hip Hop Music Video Film Festival back in 2016 has now expanded into a national and international platform, seamlessly blending the worlds of Hip Hop culture, music and film . The evening begins with a red carpet entrance and DJ, then continues with live performances and music video/short film premiers, ultimately culminating in artists and directors being awarded in three categories;
-Captivating Visuals
-Compelling Story and
-Groundbreaking

LIFE IS LIVING 2019
SATURDAY, OCTOBER, 12 | 10AM-7PM
BOBBY HUTTON PARK
1651 Adeline St, Oakland
Life is Living is an eco-equity, interdisciplinary event that centers neighborhoods and communities that are historically underserved, produced in public spaces that have been otherwise neglected. It is from this space and intention that Life is Living becomes a catalyst for larger discussions; environmental racism, social ecology and social responsibility in an era of tremendous change (climate and otherwise). The result is an intergenerational kaleidoscope of life in Oakland; an acclaimed celebration of resistance, love and the art that brings us together.
