RVMIRXZ: (http://www.g59records.com/)
From Thizzler’s Artist to look for in 2016: RAMIREZ might come as a surprise to some because his successes have happened pretty quietly as far as the Bay is concerned. One look at his Soundcloud page is all it takes to understand why he’s here. The kid does numbers. The San Francisco rapper has a knack for making songs in the vein of artists like Three-6 Mafia, Pouya, and Raider Klan. He’s often rapping about 666, suicide and demons, but also has an genuine interest in anime and wrestling. Who doesn’t love Eddie Guerrero? He lost his job because he went on tour to pursue his rap dream, so 2016 is sure to see an even hungrier RAMIREZ – and we’re ready for his new music.

War of Icaza: (http://www.waroficaza.com/)
From Paper Magazine: War of Icaza is self-proclaimed Indigenous Mutt Music. Oakland hip hop, hyphy punk, and Chicanx culture come together to create a big fuck you to Columbus, misogyny, and colonialism in both North and Central America. The group puts on infamous live shows full of thrashing and feedback, but can slow down for more spiritual and tracks like the sonically lavish “Queen Of The Night.” Their official bio though? “Ask your abuelita.”
