The 5th Annual Slap Frost Tour
After tearing down stages in the Southwest/Down South/Midwest Markets, The 5th Annual Slap Frost Tour starts its West Coast Leg in Sacramento on Thursday, January 17th and concludes in Bakersfield on February 9th. This year has proven to be the biggest and best year yet with Casual Of Hieroglyphics as the Headliner. The Usual Suspects: Z-Man & DJ True Justice & Vocab Slick. Mndsgn (Stones Throw Records) stands for Mind Design a man who was raised with Gospel music at church, and B-Boy culture at home. Experimenting with beat-making, he befriended fellow producer Knxwledge and the two formed the influential Klipmode collective. His sound mixes 80’s Funk and Fusion, paired with 90’s R’n’B. This then becomes space music, which can ever transform a living room into the entire universe and the armchair into a spaceship. Mndsgn is bringing his new Trio to this special event. Swarvy will open the show.
