Hailing from LA’s very own Watts, Dibiase is an important and iconic figure in the vast and ever growing space of beat music that spawned with the early 2000s beat generation of the west coast and beyond. Cutting teeth at some of the world’s very first all beat instrumental shows such as Kutmah’s Scetchbook monthly and the early Low End Theory days, Dibia$e is a master of the craft with a storied history, yet constantly adapting, innovating and pushing new techniques and vibrations at a virtuoso production level. His “Bakers Dozen” vinyl release on Fat Beats has receieved critical acclaim and he is always dropping new DIY projects. A master of the boom bap, we are now experiencing an interesting era of transition with Dibia$e now adventuring into worlds of house, footwork, and experimental dance feels. We look forward to hearing all chambers at Smart Bomb.

Dakim, raised in Detroit, now residing in the bay area, is not quite of this world, but a light being from a distant unknown universe, sharing ideas and sensibilities newly explored in our realm. Since the release of his seminal cassette, “standthis” on Leaving Records in 2009 he has captivated the worldwide music ether with constantly innovative styles and approaches. Many modern legendary producers site Dakim as a main influence and there is no denying his impact on avant garde music of today. His output is prolific, constantly dropping new relics. His latest projects, 2 mysterious self released Detroit jit/dance albums under the “People Movers” project and the brand new LP on Leaving Records under the moniker “Saafron” continue to push forward boundaries of futurist music.

Norvis Junior is an artist of multiple disciplines born and raised in Dallas Texas currently living in Henderson Nevada. He’s doing his best to get to know himself through the various things he makes. Over the past 3 years Norvis Junior has released 12 Projects and been featured on multiple online publication’s including The Fader(US), Brownswood (UK), Pigeons and Planes (US) and Wax Poetics (US). Currently his plan is squarely focused on bringing a dynamic and unique experience to a live setting by spreading the space gospel of love and light. Blessings.
