The #SMSF soiree is a costume party and live music event encouraging all guests to show up decked out in their finest leather, pleather, rubber, lingerie and all other things you’ve been looking for an excuse to wear. The night has been specially curated by the Dirty Diamonds ladies themselves, with a hand picked lineup of Bay area pop, soul, & hip hop artists, a Master of Ceremonies, a costume contest for King & Queen of the bash and tons of other special surprises.
It is Black History Month, and were are throwing a community fundraiser to support El Qilombo, a community space in Oakland. For many people the Qilombo social center has been part of their struggle. It has been a space where people from the neighborhood can be treated well, access resources and share space with each other in a healthy way. The space provides access to free clothing, food, hygiene kits, a clean syringe exchange and free use computers. It has also provided events space for meetings, gatherings, workshops, film screenings and celebrations. It is a center for people who want to connect to different struggles and a powerful place to build towards autonomy. It provides banner making space, printing materials and even a bike workshop.
We got FGFK, Babii Cris, GIGIO, and Breathless aka Honey B rocking sets! Show starts at 8pm on Saturday Feb 28th and is 18+ $5-$20 Sliding Scale.

This week at ROTC we are featuring one of the finalist of the One-Track-Wonder competition. This very talented MC blessed the crowd with her slammin’ joint “HMFY (Hell Mother *%$kin Yeah)” and got the party jumpin’. Sunday March 23rd we get to see this magnificent artist’s full breadth.
A touring Artist, Breathless has visited stages throughout the US and Canada including Warp Tour and is garnishing radio plays internationally as well. Now she’s taking the Bay Area by storm. Breathless withholds years of experience as a professional in the business with a great reputation and work ethic. She received an Omaha Entertainment Award for Best Hip Hop/Rap artist, as well as performed live in the event to rave reviews. Breathless continues to be nominated.
Packing in around 175 shows a year, she has been called the Hardest Working Woman in Hip Hop, Honey B consistently shines as an artist with each release, and has a fan-base that is continually growing through performances, radio, internet, and more. She’s got plenty to offer, and music that everyone can relate to.
