Filastine & Nova are a multimedia duo working to undermine borders. Their music collides electronic beat production with dense layers of voice, concréte sounds, analogue synths and strings. Spin magazine calls it “bass music for crumbling urban futures,” and Pitchfork says “they sound less like `world’ music and more like music from another world.” Another world is exactly what they aim to create, using sound, video, design, and dance to express a radically different vision of the possible.

Music of the Spheres

Music of the Spheres

April 28, 2017

Stellium will be infusing social good, an amazing feast, and music to bring to life a magical evening. Music of the Spheres is an ancient concept regarding movements of celestial bodies – sun, moon, planets and stars to form something big and create a beautiful symphony throughout the galaxy. Stellium will showcase its own interpretation on how these beautiful movements bring together various forces of good – talented artists, amazing advocates, and a sumptuous feast to make a lasting difference in the fight against human trafficking.

The Grace Cathedral courtyard will become a dinner hall where guests will enjoy a full course, decadent meal complete with wine. Following the dinner, guests will head into the cathedral which will be magically lit to feel like you are in celestial space. This incredible performance will pair a youth ensemble of strings, horns, choir, and percussion with some of the most exciting bay area bands and artists. As the performance begins and beautiful music fills the air, the audience will be left in awe of the experience.

The event will be graced with awesome live performances by our advocates and partner music artists including:

Kev Choice Ensemble
Jel of Anticon
Foxtails Brigade
Pure Powers
Jamie Way
Khafre Jay

And many more to come…

Dinner begins at 5:00 PM
Performance begins at 7:00 PM

$30 – $300
