The 3rd Annual Party for the Promise at the historic Fox Theater is on November 9. All proceeds benefit the Oakland Promise, a citywide cradle-to-career initiative with the goal of tripling the number of college graduates from Oakland within a decade. This year, our specific goal is to raise $1 million to support 50 students who are undocumented and/or engaged in OUSD’s Office of Equity with scholarships and mentoring support as they head to and through college.
