The Hydrilla and its nationally branded event series, Fuggin’ Awesome, hosts its flagship artist, YelaWolf here at Slim’s.
“The Hydrilla created Fuggin’ Awesome as a giant middle finger aimed at the hip-hop status quo,” says Fuggin’ Awesome founder, Brian “BP” Parks. “We all grew up going to punk and metal shows and we wanted to bring that same raw energy to live hip-hop.”
Now in its fourth year, the culture-bending, Atlanta-born hip-hop series birthed the careers of some of hip-hop’s biggest names including YelaWolf, Pill, Asher Roth and more.
Recently, The Hydrilla relocated its national headquarters to SF and is celebrating with the production of this special, one-night event.
