Per[Mission] to Speak: An Open Mic

Per[Mission] to Speak: An Open Mic

Artillery Apparel Gallery and the All Mighty Family are hosting a series of monthly events in which members of specific communities can come to showcase their talents and work. These communities include, but are not limited to: poets, artists, musicians, writers, dancers, and enthusiasts of such.

Per[Mission] to Speak is one of such events and will be held every 4th Thursday of the month at Artillery Apparel Gallery from 7 – 11pm. This event will be set in an open mic format, and will also include performances from a few featured poets. Also, a different local food vendor each month will be selling edible goods to compliment to poetry being performed.
It is our hope that the work of these poets and musicians are made known to those who would not have known otherwise, and that this event will continue to inspire existing and future talents.

Artillery AG’s mission is to build a space in which strong, organic relationships between artists and designers will flourish while showcasing fresh art and design (apparel, products, shoes and art). Artillery intends to create a bridge for individuals outside the art and design world, who might otherwise be reluctant to interact with people in that field.

The All Mighty Family is a collective of creatives that was conceived through the love of Art in all its forms. Consisting of DJ’s, emcees, artists, musicians, and designers, AMF continues to build intra- and inter- communal relationships through nightlife events, fundraisers, community outreach, and the support of local talent.
