Non Stop Bhangra #121–“Hip-Hop Meets Bhangra” is Back!!!

Untitled | by McPongolstein

Non Stop Bhangra #121–“Hip-Hop Meets Bhangra” is Back!!!

One of our favorite themes in 2015 was Bay Area Hip Hop Meets Non Stop Bhangra and we are bringing it back this year with the first one of the year in Feb. If you love Hip Hop and Bhangra and missed this mash up last year, come get your groove on. It’s a bangin night of Laid back West Coast Hip-Hop laced with a heavy dose of Bhangra & Dhol beats, keeping heads bobbing and shoulders bouncing on the dance floor!

As Always, the night will kick off with the ritual Bhangra dance lesson followed with vibrant dance performances by the beautiful Dholrhythms Dance Company. The Flow will continue with NSB’s fam and collective, Seti X and Deuce Eclipse (Bang Data) coming together as always to spit some lyrical fire. Also gracing the stage this month will be one of our favorite local hip hop divas Aima The Dreamer who’s known for her beautiful flow and positive vibes. Its all about the Bay this month!!!

Non Stop Bhangra’s residents DJ Jimmy Love, Rav-E will be on the 1’s and 2’s and joined by special guests, DJ Delrokz, one of Bay Area’s most versatile selectors who has been diggin in the crates, flipping the breaks, and heating up the dance floor since 2003 alongside one of our long time fam favorites Sandeep Kumar (LA) who’s been spinning at NSB throughout our 11 year run and always brings bangin dance floor vibes. NSB’s own Pavit Deol will be spicing up the night with live dhol (drumming) all night! Beyond sound and dance, Non Stop Bhangra caters to your eyes all night with visuals by DJ Amar, live painting by Marcus Murray, and photography by Odell Hussey!

If you have never made it out to Non Stop Bhangra event, it’s one of a kind night featuring vibrant music, performances, live music, drumming, and one of the most eclectic crowds seen on a dance floor. So much more than just a club night, Non Stop Bhangra has truly turned into one of a kind cultural experience only found in the Bay Area.
