L*Roneous

Even though L*Roneous claims that “[he] don’t have to lead, [he] just lets the beats sing,” with a voice that’s as soothing as warm caramel, not only will you NOT want him to stop…you will likely beg him to keep flowing. An SF treat, if you’re like me and dread crossing the bridge, this is your chance, so don’t miss out!

Otayo Dub will remind you why you fell in love with hip hop to begin. Dropping melodic beats that accompany witty lyricism, Otayo manages to reflect Bay Area life without the west coast sugar coating we are faced with daily. Careful to all those arriving in skinny jeans though, you may find yourself the brunt of more than a couple clever jokes, by a skilled linguist.

The high deserts of New Mexico, while often under appreciated by outsiders, breed creativity like no other, and turn out some of the best artists & musicians I have found hands down. The 2bers are a perfect example, with deep vocals reminiscent of House of Pain and a somewhat somber tone that lets you know there’s a story to be told. With these cats on the bill, you are assured of an awesome night of hip hop, so do yourself a favor, & come get some Southwestern digs.

Oakland Emcees, Dope City Saints, have been consistently dropping tracks in the local underground hip hop scene for a hot minute, and yet still manage to offer up fresh digs with original style that focuses on creative lyricism and top notch musical composition. If you haven’t been to one of their shows yet, this is your opportunity to see some of the best of what The Town’ has to offer.
