A fundraiser for Today’s Future Sound at Soul Groove, this will be an all-you-can-eat soul buffet including cover for battle for $20 with some of San Francisco’s best fried Chicken and Waffles as well as $2 PBR’s.

Grand Prize: $75 Brunch for Two VIP Package and featured performance slot for brunch at Soul Groove, plus FL Studio 12 and Deckadance Licenses, IStandard lifetime membership.

It’s going down again! Paying tribute to the late and great JDilla and his slumpin’ Calitroit style. Today’s Future Sound and Phillipdrummond aka Philthydrummond aka Pd bring your the dopest blaps in the Bay LIVE at our beat battle fundraiser. Our red suitcase with mixing board, lots of TFS logo t-shirts, TFS banner etc. was stolen from the last fundraiser (if you see an SF sidewalk sale either buy it and return or gank it back and return to us!) and we are also raising funds for the usual general operation costs and supporting our free Beats4Lunch program at West Oakland Middle School.

Live tournament style beat battle! Bring your own beats—we encourage folks to play the beats live and bring your equipment but you are welcome to bring USB drive/CD and you won’t be docked points for this!

KODYACK’S MEMORIAL BENEFIT SHOW: FRESH COAST REUNION

We’re doing it BIG at the Oakland Metro Operahouse on Friday, February 27th. Doors at 8pm and show at 9pm. Admission is $10 AND includes a free CD of Kodyack’s music REMASTERED. This is a show dedicated to the late GREAT LORD YACK. Join us as we celebrate the LIFE and MUSIC of KODYACK, Marcos Murcia. We’ve got performers coming from all over to pay homage to our fallen friend and to raise money for his family.

We’ve got a great lineup for you all including live beats by Jel and a Beatboxer Showcase featuring the ever so talented Infinite and Syzygy. OF COURSE there will be a freestyle battle Tourettes style and performances by those that stood beside him or across from him in the battle rap scene. Come out to meet your favorite Fresh Coasters, watch them battle, get copies of their music, etc. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS. IT’S GONNA BE OFF THE HOOK.
