Today, of every 100 Oakland students who start high school, only 10 will graduate from college within five years. In my first year as Mayor, I made a bold promise to triple the number of college graduates from Oakland within a decade. Our vision is that every child in this community has the opportunity to graduate high school, complete college and pursue the career of his or her dreams. Join us, and help make the promise a reality.

All of the proceeds from the Party for the Promise will support the Oakland Promise and its cradle-to-career vision of tripling the number of college graduates from Oakland within a decade.

With Oakland Love,

Libby
