ABOUT “THE WELL”
The Well is an outreach program focused on the women and children of San Francisco’s Tenderloin district. They serve both exploited women and children, who have gone through domestic violence, homelessness, and immigration inequality. The Well is the space in which they offer weekly mentoring sessions, manicures, community connection programs, English reading classes & extracurricular activities. Most recently they launched a dance program for younger girls. With a vision to expand their Art Program by offering art therapy, art classes and artistic forums, they are in need of volunteers, supplies and your very generous donation. Every cent counts this Holiday Season.
Thank you.

Auburn Hip Hop Congress is proud to present The 3rd Annual Hip Hop Awareness Festival, to be held at The Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn. On Saturday July 14, we celebrate the culture of Hip Hop by bringing together 10 hours of non-stop Music, Art & Dance. 12-10pm, All-Ages, Family Friendly.
We celebrate the culture of Hip Hop by paying homage to the 4 Elements
(DJ, Emcee, Breakdance & Graffiti) Each of these Elements will be showcased on stage throughout the day by way of:
• Performance
• Live Art & Graffiti Battle
• Bboy/Bgirl Showcase/ Demo Battle/ Open Cypher (Spinnin’ Breaks)
• DJ/Turntablist & Live Producer Showcase
• Slam Poetry & Spoken Word
• Vendors, Healthy Foods and More
And we are very proud to announce that Luckyiam from Living Legends will be our “Early-bird Headliner” set to hit the stage at 3pm. Get there early before 2pm and receive a discounted ticket price at the door!
We want everyone to get there early to witness the magic as it all unfolds!
Artists from all over California will be travelling to Auburn to be a part of this festival. Members of National Hip Hop Congress and other groups that Auburn HHC is closely affiliated with will all be in attendance, as well as many young aspiring artists who are involved in our young Artist Development Program.
Local Youth groups, Non-Profits and Business Owners will all have booths surrounding the stage.
With this Festival, we are also raising Awareness about a culture that many of us live by and a genre of music that we all love and relate to. An empowering, diverse, open-minded, colorful and creative culture…
This is a day where we introduce our whole community to what Hip Hop is to us!
