This time around we’re bringing you two of the most legendary 45s DJs in the world, grammy award winning DJ/producer legends The 45 King & Diamond D, rockin’ back to back for 3 hours in half hour increments. Brought to you by The 45 Sessions, Mighty, & Max Agency, join us for a legendary night of strictly 7″ vinyl with support from DJs Shortkut, Platurn, E Da Boss, Enki, Mr. E, Delgado & DJ Saurus.

Ticket Options:

  • $25 Team/8 Hour Dancer Tickets:If you are taking the 8 hour dance marathon challenge, please pay this registration fee. You’ll receive, an event T-shirt and Taco Truck Garden unlimited eats wristband, plus mini-yoga and dance classes, and massage. After you’ve registered, please return to http://www.thedancesf.org to create your fundraising profile, either as part of a team or as an individual.
  • $50 VIP tickets: If you will not be taking the 8 hour marathon challenge, you can still sign up to attend. VIP tickets give you a wristband with unlimited access to the food in the Food Truck Garden.
  • $25 Standard Tickets:If you’re not dancing for 8 full hours, you also have the option of a standard ticket that gives you access to the event throughout the day. Tickets for food from the foodtrucks can be purchased at the event.

For over a decade, JUMP N FUNK has been a staple on dancefloors from New York to Berlin, establishing itself as the first and most consistent DJ-based party dedicated to Fela Kuti and his message of peace and equality through music. It has had many homes from its early days at the SHRINE in NYC to THE BARBICAN MUSEUM in LONDON ENGLAND, but without fail, JUMP N FUNK has always packed clubs in with dance rs and Afrobeat junkies of all stripes. Rich Medina controls the room with epic 4-hour DJ sets and capitvating visuals behind him.

From its inception, JUMP N FUNK was designed to raise awareness of Fela Kuti and his legacy, but has since become a nightlife institution, honoring not only his incredible contribution to music, but also the causes he championed: Pan-Africanism, Black empowerment and speaking up on behalf of the fundamentally downtrodden. Armed with an unparalled love of Fela and an unrivaled collection of Afrobeat records, Rich Medina has brought JUMP N’ FUNK to cities around the world with one purpose: to spread the love of Fela and Afro-Life!

Rich Medina re-creates the vibe of a Fela Kuti concert, with partner Mark Hines (The Marksmen) utilizing culturally relevant African photography and Nigerian dance videos for visuals.

As the Triple Threat DJs make their way to the Red Bull Culture Clash, Mighty is proud to present another installment of Triple Threat Night w/ DJs Shortkut, Apollo & Vinroc. Hosted by Fran Boogie.  Doors open at9pm, w/ an open bar the first hour. Free entry before 11pm w/ RSVP HERE.

Before becoming a trio, the Triple Threat DJs, comprising of legendary DJs Shortkut, Apollo and Vinroc, all but conquered their genre. They were introduced to the art form as youngsters through mobile DJing and evolved into world-renowned turntablists. Triple Threat represents the future of turntablism, precisely because they’ve been so instrumental to its storied past. Though they have championship-level skills at scratching and beat-juggling they also know how to rock a party, produce music and create original compositions with two turntables. They are not just djs, turntablists, producers, musicians or club djs, they encompass all aspects.
