DIRECTIONS IN SOUND, CAAMFest’s premier music showcase, is moving to Oakland! This annual concert is a festival favorite and has been a popular launching point for many celebrated artists, such as Dengue Fever, Awkwafina, DJ Vinroc and many more. This year, CAAM welcomes three bold and dynamic voices in hip-hop: the Bay Area’s own Lyrics Born and Ruby Ibarra will take the stage with rising star G Yamazawa, who comes to CAAMFest from Los Angeles by way of North Carolina.
