Beat Junkie Sound Presents For The Record
On the heels of their 20th anniversary show this past weekend, and the release of the first in a series of 45s, the Beat Junkies have released a documentary about their 20 years on the turntables.
The World Famous Beat Junkies, comprised of members J-Rocc, DJ Babu, D-Styles, DJ Rhettmatic, DJ What?!, Mr. Choc, Icy Ice, Curse, DJ Shortkut, Melo-D, Symphony and DJ Havik have been putting in work on the turntables since they were first established in 1992. Known internationally as the premiere DJ crew, their longevity is a testament to their immense musical talents. In celebration of the legendary Beat Junkies, LRG presents For the Record – a short documentary profiling the collective with contributions from the likes of A Trak, Q Bert and Peanut Butter Wolf – with DJ Jazzy Jeff commenting that “there are no DJ’s out today that haven’t been influenced by the Beat Junkies at all.”
The Beat Junkies are heading out on the road for an international tour with stops across the US, Europe and Asia – tour dates coming soon.

TRIPLE THREAT DJs
Summer Selection
w/ special guest DJ Ry Toast
FREE ALL NIGHT!
FREE BBQ ALL NIGHT!
Before becoming a trio, the Triple Threat DJs, comprising of legendary DJs Shortkut, Apollo and Vinroc, all but conquered their genre. They were introduced to the art form as youngsters through mobile DJing and evolved into world-renowned turntablists. Triple Threat represents the future of turntablism, precisely because they’ve been so instrumental to its storied past. Though they have championship-level skills at scratching and beat-juggling they also know how to rock a party, produce music and create original compositions with two turntables. They are not just djs, turntablists, producers, musicians or club djs, they encompass all aspects.
w special guest DJ RY TOAST
DJ Ry Toast has been a certified rap nerd ever since she put a Tone Loc tape into her Teddy Ruxpin. Toast grew up in Jersey and went to college in Vermont. She has been deejaying professionally since moving to San Francisco in 2007. Her musical selection represents a deep understanding of music, people, and how to get the party crackin’. She is a true admirer of all things hip hop.
