The Hieroglyphics crew start the new year off strong announcing a 6 city mini-tour showcasing the ENTIRE GROUP. Del the Funky Homosapien, Souls of Mischief, Pep Love, Casual, Domino and DJ Toure will be hitting the road, performing a handful of long-awaited live shows. Promising a busy year, the crew looks to use the run as a platform to reach out to patient fans announcing several new projects for 2011. The entire run is put together in support of the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3 video game release with a special segment of the live set dedicated to the game. Eager fans can look forward to a fusion of classic material along with new cuts for a full Hieroglyphics experience.

Macsen Apollo is proud to release his first solo single and video “Heartbreaks”, off the upcoming album “Matters of the Heart”.

Macsen Apollo, out of Oakland, California has made a name for himself through his long-time rap career. As part of the V.E.R.A. Clique the MC has released two group albums to date and finally started working on his first solo effort in 2010. He has worked with well-known artists such as D’ Wayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone, Joe Scudda of Justus League, Dahrio Wonder, APlus & Aagee (Compound 7) of the Heiroglyphics and Souls of Mischief and many more, and has earned respect for his outstanding drive and unique style.

The title “Heartbreaks” ,the first single off the album “Matters of the Heart”, speaks for itself. It is based on a true story about being in love only to find out that it is based on lies and deceit. The Song captivates through its honesty and realness, as well as a distinct beat, produced by Kev Choice. This is not a song just for the ladies, it speaks to every person that has been through the Heartbreak.

The Song was released digitally today, January 11^th 2011, along with a video and can be purchased via www.MacsenApollo.com.The album “Matters of the Heart” is set to come out March 2011 and will be available on iTunes and many other online stores.
