HIEROGLYPHICS
Oakland’s own underground hip-hop collective, Hieroglyphics, takes the stage with their signature battle rhyming and freestyling over funky and jazzy beats.
Opening the afternoon will be Oakland-based dance crew Mix’d Ingrdnts and the B-boys of the Golden State Breakers.
Hieroglyphics will be participating in an informative pre-concert Artist Talk, moderated by Davey D, at Stern Grove’s Trocadero Clubhouse at 12:00 noon on the day of the concert.

QUEENDOM seeks to reverse that by placing women at the center of this art form. Witness this all-female show as the ladies of hip-hop represent all 4 elements – graf writing, breakin’, MCing & DJing – as they always have.
