Not only is Mr. E a highly celebrated DJ in the Bay are, but he’s also the co-owner of the Bay Area landmark restaurant, Papalote. Mr. E has not only shared his musical talents with the Bay, but he is also a friend of the community and great supporter of positive change and growth in the community. He constantly donates his time and food to help others.
With that said, we invite all of you to come help celebrate his special day. It’s time we give some love back! We also have a VERY SPECIAL GUEST: DJ PREMIER of Gang Starr, that will be playing at his birthday. He hails from New York City and is a living legend behind the turntables as well as one of the best producers in Hip Hop. Trust, you won’t want to miss this event.

2011 has been a break out year from Mike Volpe bka Clams Casino. After producing tracks for Soulja Boy, Lil B, The Jealous Guys and Main Attraktionz just to name a few. Volpe has broken out from behind the scenes to showcase his productions to a live audience. The popularity of “instrumental Mixtape” was the catalyst for the live performances and now on Saturday August 20th listeners in SF will have the opportunity to see his first West Coast appearance with his friends and collaborators.

“The Love Mixtape” put them on the map and the anticipation for “Audio Book” is at an all time high. The energy in the room during this performance may just reach heights unseen or heard since the golden era of early 90’s bay are independent hip-hop.
