If u are scheduled too perform at 209 Indie Fest & can’t make it for one reason or another let us know now so we can make proper arrangements too replace you. Also each performers set at indie fest is 10 minutes max..no Dj or band members required just bring your cd or jump drive with 3 instrumentals and prepare to rock the showcase for the 209! Show & battles start at 6pm so all artists and battlers need too arrive early! 21+ cus its at a nightclub with a full bar. no hats or jerseys. See u all Friday march 30th at fat cat in downtown Modesto!

Also too all performers! as you know we GIVE AWAY a bunch of cd’s on stage for INDIE FEST every year so i need ALL ARTISTS PERFORMING too bring your DEMO!! Bring MERCH to give away!! Every artist every year likes too give back by donating a handfull of cd’s too throw out on stage! Rock The School Bells 5 Hip Hop Conference & Concert

We are pleased to announce that Rock The School Bells (RTSB) is back for its 5th year! To celebrate our 5th year, this year’s theme is KNOWLEDGE.

This year’s conference is FREE for all youth and students. Donations are always welcome at the event. Reserve your spot today by getting your RTSB Conference ticket. Access to the conference is FREE for the first 200 youth and students. Get yours today!

We will provide interactive workshops, panel discussions, live art, and performances. We will also have Lunch Special Emcee Battle hosted by Vitamin Water and an All-Styles Dance Battle presented by Universal Zulu Nation – All Tribes SF.

Rock The School Bells Workshops include:

It’s Still Bigger Than Hip Hop: Strategies for Activism, Health, and Community Power by dead prez

DJ Fundamentals by DJ Mista B and the Beatz

The Legacy of Bay Area Hip Hop Culture by Dregs One

The Cipher by Deep Foundation of New York City

The conference will go from 9:00-4:30PM with breakfast snacks, refreshments, and lunch provided.

We will close out the evening with our Rock The School Bells concert from 7:00-9:30PM with performances ranging from emceeing, dance, turntable exhibitions, beatboxing and a special dance production by Dancers United.
