The San Francisco chapter of the Universal Zulu Nation, All Tribes SF, will be celebrating their 9th Anniversary with Meeting of the Minds, an event dedicated to hip-hop education.
Event features:
– Indigenous blessing from members of the Ohlone Nation
– Open forum on gentrification, moderated by Dregs One
– Panel discussion on community involvement through hip-hop, featuring CMG (MC, Conscious Daughters), Paulskee (B-boy, Mighty 4), Kaila Love (MC, educator), and more TBA – moderated by Davey D
– Keynote speech on Egyptian history and culture by Casual of Hieroglyphics
– Information on community organizations and resources
– Healthy food
– Hosted by Patience
– DJs Koo C & TD Camp
All ages – $10 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds) – drug/alcohol-free safe community space
