MAZU Lounge
In a collaborative effort to represent San Francisco’s Asian and urban cultures, the owners (all San Francisco
natives) KK & Silma Salamin, have created an atmosphere that meshes the natural with the industrial. With artist and DJ recruits from San Francisco’s Bay Area, Brooklyn, and Buenos Aires, Mazu was created to welcome, gather, and showcase young talent.
The menu, without pretense, incorporates the traditional flavors of Thailand, The Philippines, China, Korea, and Japan with modern culinary techniques. Carefully researched and executed by Chef Silma Salamin, the menu offers innovative takes on national favorites. As is in Asian culture, each dish is meant to share, allowing patrons to sample a greater portion of this splendid menu.
