+ Thundering Live Performances

Word to Your Motherland (WTYM) is a series of exhibitions presenting artwork that highlights the cultural movements of South Asians in America who incorporate elements hip-hop in their work. WTYM seeks to embody and inspire new ways of thinking about how artists engage and interact with their homeland and place of cultural origin within their medium and aesthetic. This project aims to feature several works by international visual artists as well as integrated live and visual art & musical performances. We will work to transcend all man made borders and create a dialogue of self-expression by artists sharing their work and creative process across the globe.
