Hail up all massive and crew! Yes…we’re back at it again, this time with Zion I & the Grouch. The new album “Heroes In The Healing Of The Nation” is set for release March 22, 2011. This is definitely one of my favorite projects that we’ve recorded in recent years. The three of us came into this project with the intention to inspire positive change in people’s lives. The themes and messages contained therein speak to the shifting world around us. I’m excited for y’all to hear it! We put our hearts and souls into it, and the result is a journey into the depths of funk and rhythm. We’ll be hitting the road to support the record starting in mid-March with Blu and The Shotgun Wedding Quintet. Check out the video and HERE for all the tour dates & details. Mark your calendar…the Heroes are coming soon!

Some of the Bay Area’s best DJs and Artists have assembled to pay tribute to life and legacy of Oakland’s beloved Graffiti King and Bay Area legend, Mike “DREAM” Francisco. Recognized worldwide as a style master, Dream’s graffiti established the visual aesthetic of Oakland’s Hip Hop culture, and put The Town on the map in what is now the fastest growing art movement in human history.
This event marks eleven years since Dream was tragically murdered, and all proceeds from the event will benefit Akil Francisco, Dream’s only son, now 11 years old.
All proceeds benefit the Dream Book Fund and the Dream Legacy Fund for his son Akil, 11, who recently lost his mother to breast cancer.
If you are unable to attend and wish to support, please make checks out to The Dream Trust Fund, or Akil Francisco.
